Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is an independent federal agency that is responsible for regulating the interstate transmission of natural gas, oil, and electricity. They are also responsible for regulating and licensing hydropower projects in the United States. FERC Order Issuing Original License for the Gordon Butte Pumped Storage Project

On December 14, 2016 the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission entered into the Federal Register an Order Issuing Original License to GB Energy Park LLC for the Gordon Butte Closed Loop Pumped Storage Hydro Project (P-13642).
